Jenna Waldman is the author of the picture books, PURR-IM TIME! (Apples & Honey Press, 2023), LARRY'S LATKES, SHARKBOT SHALOM (Apples & Honey Press, 2021), and an unannounced book in 2025. Jenna is originally from Rhode Island, but now lives in the SF Bay Area. She shares her home with her husband, their two boys, and three felines.

• I’m constantly trying to convince my kids we should adopt a bearded dragon.
• I think spiders are awesome.
• I used to work as a toy designer.
• I’ve been to 42 out of 50 states in the USA (I hope to visit the last 8 someday!).
• In another lifetime, I would either be a zookeeper, or sing and dance on Broadway. (FYI, I can’t sing or dance well at all.)

• As a greeting card designer, I was the finalist for a Louie Award, the highest award for the industry.
• I have participated in Madness Poetry for five years, and am ranked 4th out of the top 25 contestants.
